Sharla Haasenritter is a partner and the Operations Director for Journey to Hope and manages the daily operations for Journey to Hope Counseling. Sharla is in charge of all receiving, billing, office operations and insurance. Sharla attended Fountain Gate Bible College in Plano, Texas, and has over 24 years of experience managing an agricultural farm in Brownfield, Texas. Sharla is married to David and they have four children, three daughter-in-laws and five granddaughters. Sharla is also an adoptive mother to a young man and woman from India and Bombay Teen Challenge.
Laura Diamantopoulos has been with us for a few years, and mans the front office one evening a week. She is currently an Earth Science teacher at Colonial Forge High School, married to Peter, and is originally from Pennsylvania. Laura’s philosophy in beginning with Journey to Hope was to give back in community service, and volunteer her time. When we opened Journey to Hope, we asked her to continue with us and she agreed. She continues to give back to clients and to support the ministry of Journey to Hope Counseling.
Jennifer is originally from Fairfax Station, Virginia. Jennifer and her husband Kenny decided to move to this area 13 years ago, and they believe it was one of the best decisions they have ever made. Jenifer loves the Lord, is compassionate about serving others, living life to the fullest, and spoiler her grandchildren.
Jennifer has 21 years of work experience in the public so if you feel like that era has come to an end, she embraces the next chapter of her life. She is excited and looks forward to serving here at Journey to Hope.
Rosemarie Jones started with Journey to Hope in February, 2013 but there is a long and deep friendship between Rosemarie and Susie Walden. She began in February to provide support because Sharla Haasenritter had to be out forshoulder surgery in a temporary capacity, but we have chosen to continue her tenure here at Journey to Hope becauses he brings something wonderful to the front office. If you have been greeted by Rosemarie even once, then you know what we mean. We are very fortunate to have her on our team, for however long God allows. Rosemarie is married to Jimmy, they have two daughters, Robin and Rachael, and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
In Feb, 2016 We experienced another transition at the Journey to Hope office, as Rosemarie Jones is moving into the position of our permanent fill in when others are away from the office. She has been a faithful and wonderful part of every week since February, 2013, and we will miss seeing her weekly in the office. She originally came in to fill in for 2 weeks, and now it has been 3 years! Every day with her in our office has been a gift! We are sad to see this change, but oh so very happy for this season in her life. She has a daughter in Virginia Beach who is getting married this year, and a daughter and four beautiful grandchildren living in Farmville, and she just needs more time to be with them. To be able to stay a week or two or three when she needs to. For JTH clients, you will certainly see her again, as she fills in when we need her throughout the year. Finishing well with people is important to us at Journey to Hope, and Rosemarie finished this chapter very very well. We pray God’s blessings over you in this next chapter of weddings, travel and grandbabies. Love you very much – from all of us at Journey to Hope!
