Life Coach - Andy Walden

Andy Walden is a partner at Journey to Hope Counseling, and is a Certified Life Coach from Light University. Andy did his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University, majoring in Curriculum Development for Adult Education.  He is also a government contractor/program manager supporting the United States Navy. Andy also retired from the US Navy with 24 years of service in the submarine force.


Andy is married to Susie and they have two sons, Matthew and Drew, and one granddaughter, Mackenzie.  Andy and Susie are adoptive parents to exchange students from India and Brazil. Andy  has taught the staff and ministry heads Leadership and Management Training in India, and there are plans to take the Anger Management Course to Jamaica Teen Challenge. Andy and Susie also have four golden retrievers.  Andy and Susie are members of Stafford Crossing Community Church and serve as small group leaders.


Andy is part of the teaching and facilitating team each quarter for our Anger Management course, and his desire is to develop some specialty areas in coaching, specifically in the areas of career coaching, anger management and grief coaching.
