Day 3 and the 5 year celebration continues! Yesterday, we had a rare but very welcome visit from our Chief Information Officer, Drew Walden. The government being closed worked out well for us! Drew is responsible for our amazing website design and management, our newsletter and everything web related. So very thankful for him and all he does for Journey to Hope. Also, every client who walks through the doors this week gets a special thank you gift, some great celebration food, and a chance to write what Journey to Hope means to them💙

Journey to Hope Celebrating 5 years!!!
Journey to Hope is celebrating our 5 year anniversary! We thank you for being a part of our Journey to Hope! Here is what the three of us have to say about 5 years:
From Susie:
Happy 5th Anniversary to Journey to Hope Counseling! January 31, 2016, marks our 5th year in business. God put the dream of Journey to Hope on my heart during a trip to India in 2010. Our doors opened on January 31, 2011, and we have seen nearly 1000 beautiful souls come through our door since that very first day. Can we just take this moment to say thank you for being one of those people or for supporting us with your prayers and your friendship? We are so very thankful indeed for every single one of these 1,826 amazing days at Journey to Hope. God is truly bigger than our dreams and When He directs you and you follow Him, doors open and dreams become the life you live. Journey to Hope is that kind of place. Where Hope lives. Blessings, Susie💙
From Sharla:
Opening Journey to Hope 5 years ago with Susie was something that we had been talking about but seemed to be far from reality until it happened. I remember Susie saying, "What if people don't come?" At that moment, I knew beyond a shadow of doubt and spoke, " Susie, don't worry, they will come!" And come they have! Seeing the journey of lives change from hopelessness to hopeful has been inspirational.
It has shown me how to trust the FATHER and learn to lean on HIM FOR ALL THINGs. My prayer is the moment anyone walks through the doors of JOURNEY TO HOPE, the healing process begins and peace rules their hearts.
From Andy:
Wow, it seems like just yesterday I was putting together office furniture for Susie and Sharla. Now 5 years later I stand amazed at God’s provision and purpose for Journey to Hope. I am so privileged to be a part of this great vision come to fruition for Journey to Hope. I look forward to what God has planned for the next 5 years. Happy Anniversary JTH. Andy
Hold on to Hope!
Journey to Hope Plans to Reopen January 26th
Reaching out to say that Journey to Hope plans to reopen with regular counseling hours tomorrow, Tuesday, January 26th, 2016. Although our office parking lot has been plowed, the parking places are not clear, and many neighborhoods, including ours, have not yet been plowed even once! Choosing safety once again for you and for us. Anyone on Susie's schedule today has the option of a telephone or Facetime/Skype session at your appointment time today. Stay safe and warm. Blessings, Susie
January Snow 2016
Journey to Hope made the decision to close today, January 22nd, 2016 because of the approaching snow storm. We are choosing safety for you and for us! Stay safe and warm! We have been amazed at the amount of snow, and while our plans are to reopen Monday, we will post any schedule changes here and on our Journey to Hope facebook page . https://www.facebook.com/JourneytoHopeCounseling/timelineSnow is a beautiful gift, but it can be dangerous. Praying for your safety while you enjoy God's masterpiece outside. Blessings, Susie
Anger Management Group Starting January 13, 2016 @ 6:00 pm.
Our next anger management group starts on Wednesday, January 13 at 6 PM. It will run for six weeks. Dinner will be provided each week. If you need a certificate of completion for anger management, you must attend five of the six sessions. The group is open to men and women.
We are making good on our promise to offer Anger Management from a Christian perspective every single quarter of the year. If you have already gone through it once with us, you are welcome to come again. The course changes slightly each offering as new material becomes available. We would love to have you join us.
If we are a provider for your insurance, we can bill them for part of the cost for anger management per session. The materials for the course are $12. If we are not a provider for your insurance, the cost for the group is $350.00 plus materials.
It is important that we know if your insurance is the same or has changed in any way. We will work with you as to how the insurance will participate in covering anger management.
Praying for you today, that God will continue to be greater than anything you face in 2016. Because He is.
Please Contact Us if you are interested in joining.
