Journey to Hope is keeping its spotlight on Bombay Teen Challenge for the month of October, 2013, in an effort to raise awareness and support of the amazing and life changing work being done in Mumbai, India for so many. We consider the founder of Bombay Teen Challenge, K.K. Devaraj, a very dear friend and we are committed to this ministry and their mission.

There are several events planned in the US for October and November, called Set Beautiful Free, and they will be held in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and New York City. We are showcasing in our office many of the items currently being made by Bombay Teen Challenge, as well as ways you can be a part of this noble effort in India.

We will also be featuring stories this month, one each week, of three whose lives were rescued by Bombay Teen Challenge, and who now have permanent residence in my heart, Sanjay, Israel, and Lakshmi. Last week we began the One Life, One Story series with the story of Sanjay. Thank you for your many positive responses to this series, and his story.

Tomorrow, look for the story of Israel, as we continue the One Life, One Story series. His story is also very powerful and gives you another look at a life rescued by Bombay Teen Challenge.

India and these beautiful children of BTC are now written on the walls of my heart, forever.
